Bader Association for Upper Egypt Development is a youth association based in Assiut Governorate, specializing in social and developmental work and considering it a fundamental contributor to the development of individuals and society. The association seeks to meet urgent and ongoing basic needs through the implementation of development projects, relief and social solidarity initiatives, and regular livelihood support programs for poor and needy families. It also works to improve the cultural, educational, economic, and health standards of families in order to achieve sustainable development for all, with the support of individuals, governmental institutions, and civil society organizations, through initiative, partnership, transparency, mutual giving, and dedicated work.
The association primarily aims to improve its level of performance and efficiency in order to become a leading and advanced development organization capable of meeting the needs of its target groups and ensuring the sustainability of the services it provides to the community. It also seeks to improve the quality and expand the scope of its services to include Sahel Selim Center, strengthen its positive image within the local community, expand its network of relationships with institutions and donor agencies, and further enhance these partnerships.
The association addresses community issues through a team of volunteers who conduct research and surveys, linking projects through the data provided by each project team to support other projects across all fields. It also carries out comprehensive surveys of families from different categories, identifies issues of particular concern to women and youth, and integrates gender considerations into development efforts through active participation in matters affecting the community. Based on this approach, and through its large network of young male and female volunteers, the association directly influences and supports its target groups.
